keira's 4 month checkup

keira checked in at 26" long, 19 lbs 5 oz and 17.5" head circumference. that puts her in the 96th, 100th and 99th percentiles respectively! needless to say, our baby girl is thriving!! :)

she got two shots and an oral vaccine and was not very happy about it. doc was very happy with her progress and we are to be on the lookout for her showing signs of interest in food...once that begins, rice cereal it is!

other than that, she is doing wonderfully. she is sleeping about twelve to fourteen hours a night and is the happiest baby! i don't really have her on a nap schedule since she's out and about with me all day, but not much longer before i go back to work so that will come in due time. :(

she's just now started to reach for things and somehow or another has already found her thumb...following in her brother's footsteps!

3 years old!

my how time flies! the z's celebrated their 3rd birthday january 10th! as busy as we've been with the holidays and with three now, i was a little delinquent in planning their party, so we won't be celebrating with friends until february 11th!

we did bring them to an inflatable place for some fun on the actual day and celebrated at home with cupcakes, but that was the extent of it.

at their 3 year appointment, zach weighed in at 39.6 lbs, 39 3/4" tall and zoe was 36.6 lbs and 39 1/2" tall. that put zach in the 97th percentile for weight and 90th for height, and zoe was 91st for weight and 92nd for height. we have big kids...what can we say???!! as long as they're healthy, that's all we can ask!
