Dawn was here visiting last week about 27 weeks pregnant. Zoe needed to check her belly button every morning to see if it had gotten flatter and if her belly got any bigger. Needless to say, Zoe became Dawn's bestie over the course of the week.
One morning while we were down eating breakfast before Dawn and AJ came down, she asked where Dawn was. I told her she was still upstairs sleeping. About five minutes later, the conversation went as such...
ZOE: "mommy, dawn ai yie must sleep on her back."
ME: "that's right love, but why do you think that?"
ZOE: "because if she didn't, she'd be flying."
The same week, she asked Jason to come sit beside her breakfast and his response was "in a minute honey, i'm about to pick up the house." Conversation carries on in the kitchen with Zoe, Zachary and myself and then Zoe says, "mommy, is daddy really about to pick up the house?"
Zoe started dance camp this week and as we were preparing the night before to get all of her stuff ready, we've lost her ballet shoes. (although the day before that she was trying them on to make sure they still fit and i asked her to put them in her bag so we don't lose them!) So i ask her...where shall we start to look? "Well mommy, we can start anywhere...they don't walk you know!??"
