Zachary (age 5) : He had scraped his leg at Westside and I cleaned him up and bandaged him up when we got home. When i was through, he gave me a hug and said, "Mommy, thank you for taking my ouchies away." Bestill my beating heart...i just melted!
Zoe (age 5): Mother's Day. On the way to celebrate Mother's Day at the Trevathan's, she asked Jason and I how we met. Then the next day, Mother's Day, she asked me if I had the best day ever celebrating with my "husband" and children. That child!
Keira (age 2): As we were leaving the Trevathan's for our Mother's Day celebration, she was saying goodbye to each person, then turns to Jenn (GooMa) and says, "goodbye poopies!"

- I am not the most creative of sorts, but thought this was a great way for family and friends to keep abreast of things going on with jason and i. it's so hard to keep in touch with everyone these days. i've had many friends create their own family blogs and love visiting their sites for updates whenever i get the chance. it's a great mechanism for staying connected with them, even if indirectly! i'm not making any promises as to how often i'll be updating, but promise to do my best!
